Tuna Salad Sandwich on Whole Wheat Bread with Lettuce and Tomato

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread (approximately 50 grams/slice)
  • ¼ cup canned tuna in water (drained)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 1 tomato slice

Meal Procedure

  1. In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a spreadable consistency.
  2. Spread the tuna salad mixture evenly on one slice of whole wheat bread.
  3. Top with the lettuce leaf and tomato slice.
  4. Place the other slice of whole wheat bread on top to form a sandwich.
