Meal Procedure

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the diced sweet potato with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Place the salmon fillet on a separate baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place both the sweet potato and salmon in the preheated oven.
  5. Steam the broccoli florets for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp. You can use a steamer basket, a pan with a small amount of water, or a microwave steamer.
  6. Bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through (flaky flesh when tested with a fork). The sweet potatoes will take about 20-25 minutes to become tender.
  7. Once cooked, remove the salmon and sweet potatoes from the oven and assemble your plate with the steamed broccoli.
